What Is a Donor Advised Fund?
A donor advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving program that allows you to combine the most favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to support WKNO Public Media. DAFs allow you to give cash, stock and other assets to a sponsoring organization and receive a tax deduction. You can then recommend how much and how often money is granted to WKNO Public Media over time.
You can also create a lasting legacy by naming WKNO Public Media the beneficiary of the entire account or a percentage of the fund. With a percentage, you can create a family legacy of giving by naming your loved ones as your successor to continue recommending distributions from the fund.
How does it work?
Follow these simple steps:
